NEPSE Edges Up by 5.82 Points, Ends in Green After Yesterday's Massive Slide

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a moderate rise today, rising by 5.82 points (0.20%) to settle at 2,782.18.

The benchmark index opened at 2,770.82, touching an intraday high of 2,808.96, while the lowest point was 2,740.22. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 8.81 Arba, with 21,318,929 shares traded across 328 companies through 103,225 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.30 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.95 Kharba.

 

SY Panel (SYPNL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 35.70 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,845.00.

 

Five companies hit the upper circuit of 10% that includes RSML, BJHL, SKHL, RLEL, SKHEL and HFIN recorded 9.98% positive change in its prices.


Meanwhile, Bhugol Energy Development Limited recorded the Highest fall, falling 3.06% and it's last trading price is Rs. 478.00. The prices changes by 15.10 point from the previous day.

Among the sector Trading Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 2.53% and meanwhile Finance Index recorded the highest fall, falling by 0.87%.
