NEPSE Edges Into Green: Index Gains 0.08 Points to Settle at 2,705.53

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a small increment today, gaining by only 0.08 points (0.00%) to settle at 2,705.53. This comes after a fall of 6.31 points in the Yesterday's trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,699.06 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,714.67 and a low of 2,696.81 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 3.63 Arba, with 8,375,471 shares traded across 352 companies through 44,542 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.22 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.53 Kharba.

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 21.17 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1428.00.

Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited (SOPL) and Led the gainer's list with 14.99%.The stock Closed at Rs. 808.50 .

Meanwhile, NMB Debenture 10.75%-2089/90 (NMBD89/90) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 8.64%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,206.00.

Among sectors, the Investment Index registered the highest gain by 0.53%, while Hotels And Tourism Index recorded highest fall, falling by 0.64%.
