NEPSE drops by 3.5 points to close at 964.12 level

NEPSE index c9ame down by 3.5 points or 0.36 percent to close at 964.12 level.

Opening at 967.64 level this afternoon, the local bourse touched the intraday high of 972.08 till the initial trading hour and thereafter slide down throughout the day and reached 964.12 level till closing.

NEPSE Sensitive and Float also plunged by 0.56 and 0.45 points to stand at 205.19 and 67.72 level respectively.

Altogether 513,612 unit shares of 134 scrips were traded through 1,622 transactions worth Rs 185.01 million.


Among the sub-indices, Banking loosed 5.32 points or 0.63 percent to close at 837.55 level.

Development (809.47) and Finance (538.55) slipped 6.46 and 0.64 points respectively.

Hotels (2008.20), HydroPower (2204.78) and Insurance (4109.30) stepped down by double digit of 16.49 points, 26.3 points and 44.7 points respectively.

Manufacturing and Others gained 16.9 points and 19.96 points to close at 1472.68 and 762.46 levels respectively.

Shares like CHCL, SANIMA, NBL, and KBL were traded maximum today.

MPFL, PIC, IDBL and PRDBL were among the top losers of the day.
