NEPSE down by 3.18 points; closes at 970.77 level.

The benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited fell down by 3.18 points or 0.33 percent to close at 970.77 level.

Similarly Sensitive and Float also plunged by 0.82 and 0.21 point respectively.

Banking followed the similar trend of NEPSE and dropped by 2.61 points or 0.31 percent to stand at 845.25 level.

Development (808.58), Finance (532.78) and Insurance (4267.26) dipped by 5.57 points, 3.06 points and 15.03 points respectively.


Hotels and HydroPower gained 8.32 points and 1 points respectively.

Others plunged by 3.52 points to close at 740.15 level whereas Trading managed to remain at 191.08 level.

Altogether 1,239,177 unit shares of 138 companies were traded through 1,699 transactions worth Rs 501.2 million including manual transactions of Rs 304.67 million.

Maximum shares of Prabhu Bank were traded today.

Laxmi Laghubitta, Naya Nepal Laghubitta and Mahakali Bikash Bank were among the top gainers of the day.
