NEPSE down by 2.59 points to close at 935.53 level

The Benchmark Index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Dipped down by 2.59 points or 0.28 percent to close at 935.53 level.

Similarly NEPSE Sensitive and Float also dropped by 0.55 and 0.07 points to close at 198.97 and 65.91 level respectively.

Opening at 938.12 level this afternoon, the local bourse moved around and 934 and 935 level throughout the day and finally closed at 935.53 level.

Among the sub-indices, Trading (200.81) and Hotels (1965.17) gained 0.51 and 7.51 points respectively.

Similarly HydroPower gained 4.44 points to close at 2157.40 level.

Banking and Development plunged by 0.4 point and 1.86 point to close at 819.08 and 786.43 level respectively.

Finance (531.06) and Insurance (3973.48) loosed 0.73 and 23.91 points respectively.

Manufacturing and Others dropped by 6.21 and 11.74 points to close at 1476.51 and 694.34 level respectively.

NLIC, GBIME, PLIC and NLICL were the most traded shares of the day.

GABL, MLBBL, NIL, VBBR and MDBL were among the top gainers of the day whereas NCDb, BGDBL, BNT and BLDBL were the top losers of the day.

Altogether 312,115 unit shares of 119 companies were traded through 916 transactions worth Rs 131.61 million.
