NEPSE dives 4.45 points today closing at 1,256.04; Sensitive float goes down by 0.59% to 85.64 points

The NEPSE index went down by 4.45 points or 0.35% closing at 1,256.04 points. Similarly, the sensitive index and sensitive float index have gone down by 1.11 points and 0.51 points closig at 270.35 points and 85.64 points respectively.

The market today opened at 1,260.95 points went through gradual downturn ultimately closing in the red zone. The turnover for today stood at Rs 54 crore, with 22.16 lakh units shares traded via 7,698 transactions.

Civil Bank (CBL) had the highest turnover today. Similarly, CBL also had the highest shares traded today closing at Rs 158.

The top gainer for today is Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (SMFBS) climbing by 9.86% closing at Rd 457. Likewise the top loser for today is Janauthhan Samudayic Laghubitta Bikas Bank (JSLBB) losing 11.3% closing at Rs 1,059.

The sub-indices for Banking, Trading, Hydropower, Others, Microfinance and Life Insurance went down. Whereas the sub-indices for Hotels, Development Bank, FInance, Non-life insurance, Manufacturing & processing and Mutual Fund went up.
