NEPSE Declines by 1.67 Points on the Last Trading Day of the Week to Close at 1,970.62, Only Three Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 1,970.62 today after losing 1.67 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 0.08%. The index had lost 1.08 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,970.78 and went intraday low at 1,984.88. Then the index made intraday high at 1,964.80 and ultimately closed at 1,970.62.

219 scrips traded hands via 13,309 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 1,801,273 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 69.88 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.383 Arba.

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.04 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 912 per share.

Support Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SMB) gained the highest 9.8% and technically hit positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme - 2 (SIGS2) lost the highest 6.16% today.

Only three sector indices closed green, "Others" gained the highest 0.5% while "Manu.& Pro." lost the highest 0.47%.
