NEPSE Declines By 12.36 Points To Settle at 2,742.11; Only One Sector Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double digit loss today, declining by 12.36 points (0.44%) to settle at 2,742.11. This comes after a gain of 30.08 points in the previous trading session on yesterday.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2762.17 and reached an intraday high of 2,764.14, while the day’s low stood at 2,734.21. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 3.89 Arba, with 8,955,545 shares traded across 348 companies through 44,744 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.76 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.62 Kharba.

 

Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 17.72 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 375.00.


Bungal Hydro Limited (BUNGAL) Led the gainer's list with 9.26%. The Stock closed at Rs. 746.00.


Meanwhile, Bungal Hydro Limited (BUNGAL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 14.95%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 14.95.

 

Among sectors, the Mutual Fund and HydroPower Index registered the highest gain by 1.89%, while Hotels And Tourism Index recorded highest fall, falling by 0.86%.
