NEPSE Couldn't Sustain Yesterday's Gain ; Only One Sector Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit loss today, losing by 13.82 points (0.51%) to close at 2,654.15. This follows a gain of 4.79 points in the previous trading session.
The benchmark index opened at 2666.13 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,678.22 and a low of 2,647.72 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.62 Arba, with 10,804,426 shares traded across 347 companies through 60,381 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.61 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.40 Kharba.
Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 47.24 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 384.90.
Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company Limited (ULHC) hit the upper cirucit with a 15.00% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 407.20.
Meanwhile, LS Horizon 12 (LSH12) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 6.50 %. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 9.35.
Among sectors, the Trading Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 0.59%, while the Manufacturing And Processing recorded the highest loss, down 0.88%.
