NEPSE Couldn't Sustain Yesterday's Gain ,Drops By 39.44 Points to Close at 2,744.40 Level

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double digit loss today, declining by 39.44 points (1.41%) to settle at 2,744.40. This comes after gain of of 38.19 points in the previous trading session on yesterday.
The benchmark index opened at 2788.9 and reached an intraday high of 2,802.84, while the day’s low stood at 2,741.17. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.66 Arba, with 10,678,550 shares traded across 338 companies through 62,512 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.80 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.63 Kharba.

National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 18.99 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 285.00.

Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) Led the gainer's list with 15.00%. The Stock closed at Rs. 1,495.00.

Meanwhile, First Micro Finance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FMDBL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 12.40%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 805.00.

Among sectors, the Mutual Fund registered the highest gain by 0.19%, while Trading Index recorded least gain, gaining by 2.33%.
