NEPSE Concludes Last Trading Day Before Tihar With 0.67% Gain; NRIC Topped the Turnover Among All the Scrips

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 16.67 points (0.67% ) to settle at 2,503.85. This follows a 18.40 -point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2489.08, touching an intraday high of 2,507.12, while the lowest point was 2,482.94. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 2.79 Arba, with 6,199,929 shares traded across 323 companies through 28,737 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 41.85 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.19 Kharba.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs.28.1 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,281.00.

Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ANLB) led the gainer's list with 10.00%.

Meanwhile,Himalayan 80-20 (H8020) recorded the steepest drop, falling 6.10%.

Among sectors, the Others Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.16%, while the Non Life Insurance saw the highest loss at 0.34%.
