NEPSE Concludes Last Trading Day Before Dashain With 0.43% Gain; Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 2.93 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 11.51 points (0.43%) to settle at 2,663.51. This follows a 2.35-point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,655.86, touching an intraday high of 2,671.68, while the lowest point was 2,647.96. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 2.93 Arba, with 7,511,193 shares traded across 314 companies through 39,859 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.52 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.14 Kharba.

Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 24.14 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 496.

Global IME Sammunat Yojana -2 (GBIMESY2) led the gainer's list with 10.00%.

Meanwhile, Sikles Hydropower Limited (SIKLES) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10%.

Among sectors, the Mutual Fund Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.96%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 1.28%.
