NEPSE closes below the level of 1175

NEPSE points have been in a downward trend for three consecutive days. Today  NEPSE  came down by 6.86 points or 0.58 percent to close at a level of 1169.40.

Opening at  1176.26 level this afternoon, the local bourse came down to level 1167.40 on the 2nd trading hour and thereafter remained around that level throughout the day.

The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 55.97 crore  where more than 9 lakh unit shares were traded through  2,363 transactions.

Except trading and others, all other sectors landed in red. Insurance plunged by  triple digits, whereas hotels came down by double digits and hydropower, banking and finance dropped down by a single digit.

SIGS-1, NHPC, EBL, KBL, CZBIL, CCBL and SANIMA were among the top traded shares.

KBBL, BLDBL,JBBL, KNBL, SUBBL, RBCLPO, KRBL,SDBL,ARDBL and ILFC were among the top gainers of the day.

GLICL, NICL, KMCDB, RBBBL, LGIL ,PLIC, ADBL, GFCL, SIC and NCM were the top losers of the day.
