NEPSE closes at 1259.37 points after gaining 3.39 points today; four companies hit the positive circuit out of which three are microfinance companies

The market continues the correction phase as it gains 0.27% or 3.39 points today. The benchmark index closed at 1259.37 points. The turnover today stood at Rs.29.43 Crore achieved from trade of 1,013,794 units of shares traded through 5,142 transactions trading scrips of 171 listed companies in the process.
Today’s trade was dominated by Promoter Shares of Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBLPO) with turnover of Rs.3.16 Crore achieved through trade of 161,545 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.196 per share.
Four companies hit the positive circuit today. Among them United Insurance Company (UIC) was the top gainer after gaining 9.99% or 30 points and closing at Rs.329 per share. Union Hydropower Limited (UNHPL) was today’s top loser as it lost 6.41% or 5 points and closed at Rs.73 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 1.03 points and closed at 272.14 points while Float Index gained 0.24 points and closed at 92.67 points.
Trading, Manufacturing, Life Insurance and Mutual Funds were today’s losing sub-indices while rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
