Nepal’s Foreign Minister Leaves for Four Day China Visit to Boost Investment and Ties
Nepal’s Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal arrived in China today for a four day official visit aimed at boosting friendship and cooperation between the two neighboring nations. The visit comes at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
During his stay, Minister Khanal is scheduled to meet with Minister Wang and other senior Chinese officials to discuss ways to strengthen ties and work together on shared interests.
A key highlight of the trip will be an investment event hosted by the Nepali Embassy in Beijing. Minister Khanal will speak at the event to encourage Chinese businesses to invest in Nepal's development projects.
Before returning home on June 17, the Foreign Minister will also attend a welcoming reception at the embassy, where he plans to meet and talk with members of the Nepali community living in China.
