Nepal Stock Exchange Grants Margin Trading Licences to 31 Brokers

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has begun granting permission to stock brokers who wish to offer margin trading facilities to investors. With this development, investors can now access margin trading through their respective brokers.
NEPSE has so far issued margin trading licences to 31 brokers. These brokers received their licences from NEPSE by the end of Jestha (mid-June) of the current fiscal year.
In addition, another 24 brokers have received letters of intent to provide margin trading services. NEPSE has stated that these brokers will also be issued full licences shortly.
