Nepal participated in the United Nations International Bazaar 2026, showcasing the country’s rich cultural heritage through traditional arts, crafts, and handicrafts.

The annual event, organized by the United Nations Delegations Spouses’ Club (UNDSC), celebrates cultural diversity, friendship, and humanitarian solidarity by bringing together countries from around the world.

According to the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the United Nations, Nepal’s participation highlighted the nation’s creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural identity through a vibrant exhibition of authentic Nepali products and artistic traditions.

In a press release issued today, the Mission stated that the event provided an opportunity to stand alongside fellow UN member states, each presenting their unique traditions, cuisines, products, and cultural expressions.

“The event was filled with vibrant energy, captivating performances, and exciting raffle activities that reflected the spirit of international unity and goodwill,” the statement said.

The Mission further noted that witnessing the diversity of cultures from around the world reinforced the importance of mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation among nations.

“Together, through culture, friendship, and compassion, we continue to build a stronger, more connected, and more inclusive world,” the statement added.
