Nepal Rastra Bank inks psychometric solutions agreement with IFC; to make an assessment of borrowers for promoting healthy lending practices

Nepal Rastra Bank has inked an agreement with International Financial Corporation (IFC) for the implementation of Psychometric Scoring Solution for the assessment of potential borrowers.

The MoU was signed between ED of Microfinance regulation department of NRB Mr. Suman Kumar Adhikari and Country representative of IFC Mr. Babakar Sedikk Faya on Magh 18, 2078

The government of Japan and the UK has extended their support to the Rastra Bank for the implementation of psychometric methods for carrying out the risk assessment of the micro and medium scale loan portfolios of the financial institutions of Nepal for the coming two years under this project, as per the media statement.
