Nepal Life pays Rs 56,20,000 to deceased insured’s wife

As part of its effort to make death claim payments faster and easier, Nepal Life Insurance Company has handed over Rs 56 lakhs and 20 thousand to the wife of late Dr. Dhan Bahadur Shrestha of Borlang V.D.C.  

Mr Shrestha had bought a life insurance of worth Rs 50,00,000 and had only made two installments of premium of Rs 9,72,280 before his death.  

As the company also provided bonus amount worth Rs 6,20,000, the total amount given to late Shresth’s wife was Rs 56,20,000.

The claim money was the biggest amount paid by Nepal life Insurance till now.  

Mrs. Shrestha on the occasion expressed her happiness in getting the claim in easier and appropriate way and also said that now she has realized the importance of life insurance.

The claimed money was given by the company CEO Mr. Bibek Jhyaju to late Mr. Shrestha’s wife Usha Kumari Shrestha.
