Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has launched a new life insurance policy called the Nepal Life Children's Golden Future Life Insurance Plan, aimed at ensuring financial security for children's education and future needs.

Unveiled by CEO Pravin Raman Parajuli during a ceremony in Kamaladi, this plan offers comprehensive coverage from a child's early age until maturity. The insurance is available for children aged 1 month to 17 years, with proposers aged 21 to 65 years eligible to apply.

The plan provides flexibility in premium payments, spanning 5 to 25 years, and includes features such as risk coverage starting at different points for the child and the proposer, and continuation of the policy without premiums if the proposer passes away.

The plan offers a lump-sum payment of the sum assured and bonuses at the end of the term, with provisions for payouts in cases of the child's or proposer's death during the term under specified conditions.

Policyholders can also avail themselves of loans against the surrender value of the policy and opt for additional benefits such as accidental death and critical illness coverage by paying extra premiums. The plan, supported by the Nepal Insurance Authority and other stakeholders, is designed to be flexible with various payment options and encourages widespread participation to secure children's futures.
