Nepal Infrastructures Investment Fund Appoints Laxmi Sunrise Capital for IPO, Begins Stock Market Journey

Nepal Infrastructures Investment Fund Limited has appointed Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited as the issue manager for its upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO). The agreement was signed by Dr. Manish Thapa on behalf of the fund and CEO Bijaya Lal Shrestha on behalf of the capital. This marks the fund's formal entry into the stock market. With a current paid-up capital of Rs. 1 Arba 20 Crores, the company plans to issue shares worth Rs. 30 Crores in the IPO.

Managed by Global Equity Fund, Nepal Infrastructures Investment Fund is a pioneering permanent capital investment institution in Nepal. It has already invested in sectors like clean energy, transport, electric vehicles, solar, hydropower, ICT, agriculture, and hospitality. Promoters include major insurance firms such as Himalayan Life, Himalayan Everest, Prabhu Mahalaxmi, Nepal Reinsurance, and prominent business figures Rajendra Khetan and Basant Chaudhary.
