Nepal Formally Establishes Diplomatic Relations with Grenada

Nepal has formally established diplomatic ties with Grenada, expanding its global diplomatic outreach. With this agreement, the total number of nations maintaining official diplomatic relations with Nepal has reached 186.

The joint statement formalizing the relationship was signed by Nepal's Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal and Grenada's Finance Minister Dennis Cornwall. The signing took place during a special program organized at the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the United Nations in New York.

Prior to signing the agreement, the two ministers held talks on shared priorities and mutual interests. During the discussion, both leaders agreed to collaborate closely on meeting global development targets under the Sustainable Development Goals and pledged to work together to address the growing challenges of climate change.
