Nepal Bank Signs Loan Agreement for Chitwan Energy's Lower Thulokhola Hydropower Project
Nepal Bank Limited has signed a loan agreement with Chitwan Energy Limited to finance the construction and operation of the 4.75 MW Lower Thulokhola Hydropower Project, which is proposed to be upgraded to 6.51 MW. The financing will be provided under a 70:30 debt-to-equity ratio.
The agreement was signed by Nepal Bank CEO Tilak Raj Pandey and Chitwan Energy Director Gopal Prasad Neupane. During the signing ceremony, both sides expressed confidence in the partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to completing the project on schedule.
