Nepal and Spain Explore Stronger Trade and Diplomatic Ties

On August 12, IRGDD President Amb. Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal met with the Director-General of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Inmaculada Riera i Reñé, in Kathmandu to discuss enhancing cooperation between Nepal and Spain.

The dialogue focused on trade promotion, investment facilitation, digital economy, tourism, cultural diplomacy, education, skill development, and knowledge exchange. Representatives from both organizations participated in the meeting.

IRGDD is a non-partisan think tank promoting global diplomacy and strategic research, while the Spanish Chamber of Commerce represents and supports Spain’s trade and international business interests.
