NEA set to increase load-shedding hours from Friday (with new schedule)

Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) on Thursday announced increment of load shedding hours from Friday.
As per the new schedule, there will be load shedding for 9 and 1/2 hours in a day and 57 hours in a week. Earlier, the NEA had been enforcing load-shedding by 44 hours in a week.
According to NEA, it took the decision citing growing demands of electricity with the approach of the winter season after decreasing water level in the rivers.
