National Insurance reports meager 4.85% profit rise in Q4

National Insurance Company Limited has reported a slight profit growth of 4.85 percent in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2071/72.
According to the unaudited financial report for the fourth quarter published today, its net profit surged to Rs 10.08 crore in fourth quarter as compared to Rs 9.61 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year 2070/71.
The company’s net earnings from premiums grew to Rs 44.79 crore in Q4 from Rs 35.57 crore in the same quarter last year.
The reserve fund of the company has reached 31.59 crore in Q4, up from Rs 29.20 crore in the previous fiscal year. Likewise, Insurance fund has risen to 28.86 crore from Rs 23.82.
National Insurance policy holder has increased to 26.92 thousand by the end of this quarter from 25.54 thousand reported in the same period of last year.
