Narayan elected chairperson of SCBNL

The meeting of board of directors of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL) has elected Ananth Narayan as chairman of the bank. The bank's 343rd board meeting held on Thursday elected Narayan to the post. Narayan succeeds Sunil Kaushal who was erstwhile Regional CEO of India & South Asia. Kaushal has taken up the role of Regional CEO, Africa and Middle East of the Standard Chartered Group, a statement issued by the bank said. Ananth Narayan is currently regional head of financial markets for ASEAN & South Asia of Standard Chartered Bank. With this appointment, Narayan is responsible for business strategy, performance and people for Financial Markets across ASEAN and South Asia, according to the statement. Source: Republica
