Narayan Bajaj Appointed as Chairman of Himalayan Life Insurance
In a significant leadership transition, Himalayan Life Insurance has officially appointed Narayan Bajaj as its new Chairman. The decision was finalised during a meeting of the company’s Board of Directors held on Monday, April 6, 2026 (Chaitra 23, 2082).
Mr. Bajaj joins the board as a representative of Laxmi Corp Nepal Pvt. Ltd., a founding shareholder group of the insurer. His appointment follows the resignation of the previous Chairman, Sulav Agrawal. According to the company's official statement, the appointment is effective immediately.
