Nabil Bank Appoints Global IME Capital as Issue Manager for Rs. 4 Arba Debenture

Nabil Bank Limited has appointed Global IME Capital Limited as the issue manager for its upcoming "5.5% Nabil Debenture 2093".

The agreement was signed on Tuesday by Manoj Kumar Gyawali, Chief Executive Officer of Nabil Bank, and Mandeep Luitel, Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Capital.

Under the issue, Nabil Bank will issue 40 lakhs units debentures worth Rs. 4 Arba, with a face value of Rs. 1,000 each. The debentures will have a 10-year maturity period and carry an annual interest rate of 5.5%.

Of the total issue, 24 lakhs units worth Rs. 2.40 arba will be sold through private placement. The remaining 16 lakhs units worth Rs. 1.60 Arba will be offered to the general public. Of the public issue, 5% will be reserved for mutual funds.

Nabil Bank is one of Nepal’s major private-sector commercial banks, serving more than 2.6 million customers through a network of 263 branches and 315 ATMs across the country. The bank has been operating in Nepal’s banking sector for more than four decades.
