Muktinath Bikas bank opens a branch in Kathmandu

Pokhara based Muktinath Bikas Bank has opened a new branch in Maharajgung, Kathmandu. The branch was inaugurated on Falgun 14 by the Pashupati Murarka, the chairman of FNCCI.

After being national level development bank, the development bank has opened its first branch in kathmandu said the CEO of the Bank, Mr. Bharat Raj Dhakal.

At present the bank has 50 service oriented offices which include branches and limited banking offices.

With the belief that bank should reach people, the development has been providing services in 12 districts. The bank has a primary capital of Rs 1.20 arba, paid up capital of Rs 83.84 crore. Its deposit collection stands at Rs 9.23 arba and investment satnds at Rs 7.86 crore. The development bank has posted an operating profit of Rs 24.92 crore.

The bank has provided 2.48 arba micro loans and savings of Rs 1.34 arba to 87 members under the microfinance program.
