Moderate Rainfall Forecast in Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading

Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading are likely to receive moderate rainfall today, while the possibility of heavy rain in these districts remains low, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Meteorologist Sanjeev Adhikari said the chances of heavy rainfall in the three districts are currently considered low. The monsoon remains active across the country, with a low-pressure system positioned slightly north of its average location in the western region and near its average position in the east.

The entire country is expected to remain predominantly cloudy this afternoon. Moderate rainfall and snowfall are likely in some Himalayan and hilly areas, with thunderstorms and lightning possible in certain locations.

The weather forecast also indicates a possibility of heavy rainfall at some locations in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. Similar conditions are possible in the hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces.

Authorities have advised people in areas prone to heavy rainfall to remain alert and follow the latest weather updates.
