Minor 4.1 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Jumla This Morning
A minor earthquake measuring 4.1 on the local magnitude scale struck Jumla district in western Nepal on Thursday morning. According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center under the Department of Mines and Geology, the earthquake occurred at exactly 5:36 AM local time.
The center of the earthquake was located around the Tamti area of Jumla. While residents in Jumla and nearby districts clearly felt the ground shake, local authorities reported that there have been no initial reports of injuries, deaths, or structural damage to homes and property
