Minister inspects Budhigandaki Hydel Project

GORKHA:

Minister for Energy Radha Gyawali today inspected the under-construction Budhigandaki Hydropower Project at Ghyalchok of Gorkha district.

She also went through the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the project after inspection of the trial tunnel.

Officials of the French consulting company Trackbelt had reported to the Minister about the project structures on the occasion.

Minister Gyawali also interacted with locals of the Project-affected areas during her inspection trip in Gorkha and promised to forward the construction works after the necessary process.

The locals demanded adequate compensation to people of the infected site.

Minister Gyawali was accompanied by lawmakers Chinkaji Shrestha, Kamala Panta, Krishna Dhital, Rajendra Pandey, among others.
