MetLife Nepal Launches Sports and Education Initiative in Kaski Schools

MetLife Nepal has launched a new CSR initiative titled “Empowering the Next Generation Through Education and Sports” to support public schools in Kaski District. In partnership with Karmayog Foundation, the program aims to promote sports and education by distributing football kits and equipment to five schools, benefiting around 160 students.

The initiative includes footballs, training gear, goalpost nets, and jerseys to encourage structured sports activities and improve participation in schools. It also focuses on holistic child development by teaching values such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance through sports.

MetLife Nepal stated that sports can play a vital role in motivating students, especially in public schools with limited opportunities. The program is part of the company’s broader CSR commitment to education and community development in Nepal.
