Maya Khola Hydropower Signs Agreement with Citizens Capital for Right Share Issue

Maya Khola Hydropower Limited and Citizens Capital Limited have signed a formal agreement in Kathmandu, appointing Citizens Capital as the Issue Manager for the company’s right share issuance of 10 million units. The agreement was signed by Dinesh Prasad Shrestha, Executive Chairman of Maya Khola Hydropower, and Sabir Bade Shrestha, CEO of Citizens Capital.

Under the agreement, Citizens Capital will manage all regulatory approvals from the Securities Board of Nepal and oversee post-approval issuance activities. Established in 2067 B.S. and converted into a public company in 2073 B.S., Maya Khola Hydropower operates the Maya Khola Hydropower Project in Sankhuwasabha District, supplying electricity to the Nepal Electricity Authority since 2080 B.S. This collaboration aims to enhance the company’s capital market participation and facilitate future expansion through efficient capital mobilization.
