Market opens for the week with loss of 10.01 points to stand at 1254.35 points; two microfinance companies hit the positive circuit today

The market today was losing for the most part of the day. The benchmark index suffered double digit loss of 10.01 points or 0.79% and closed at 1254.35 points. The turnover today was worth Rs.48.18 Crore achieved from trade of 1,575,340 units of shares traded through 5,609 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.
Laxmi Bank Limited (LBL) posted today’s highest turnover worth Rs.4.10 Crore with LTP of Rs.219 per share. In terms of volume, Promoter Shares of Civil Bank Limited (CBLPO) stood ahead with trade of 201,574 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.110 per share.
Gurans Laghubitta (GLBSL) and Ganapati Microfinance (GMFBS) hit the positive circuit today after gaining 9.93% and 9.82% respectively. Swadeshi Laghubitta (SDESI) was today’s top loser after it lost 6.55% or 38 points and closed at Rs.542 per share.
Sensitive Index lost 2.01 points and closed at 269.60 points while Float Index lost 0.69 points and closed at 92.10 points.
Development Banks, Finance and Mutual Funds were the only gaining sub-indices today while rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
