Market opens for the week with 22.39 points gain; 23 companies hit the positive circuit today

The market today gained double digits of 22.39 points or 1.73% and closed at 1314.51 points. Today’s turnover was worth Rs.1.67 Arba which was achieved from trade of 4,921,084 units of shares traded through 16,075 transactions trading scrips of 176 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.23.19 Crore achieved through trade of 715,538 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.325 per share.

Scrips of 23 companies hit the positive circuit today. Among them Promoter shares of Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCLPO) gained the most at 10% or 825 points and closed at Rs.9075 per share. Sunrise bank Limited (SRBL) was today’s top loser as it lost 4.04% or 11 points and closed at Rs.261 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 3.18 points and closed at 282.85 points while Float index gained 1.42 points and closed at 96.86 points.

Banking and Finance sector ended in the red zone after losing 0.75% and 0.11% respectively. Rest of the sub-indices gained points.
