Market moves 21.73 points in the positive direction closing at 1299.41 points; turnover worth Rs.63.36 Crore posted

The market today gained massive 21.73 points or 1.70% and stood to close at 1299.41 points. The turnover was worth Rs.63.36 Crore achieved from trade of 2,075,040 units of shares traded through 8,056 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.

In terms of turnover, Shivam Cement (SHIVM) stood ahead with turnover of Rs.4.94 Crore with LTP of Rs.388 per share. In terms of volume, Janata Bank Limited (JBNL) stood ahead with trade of 193,142 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.208 per share.

Salt Trading Corporation (STC) was today’s top gainer after it gained 9.78% or 39 points and closed at Rs.440 per share. Panchthar Power Company (PPCL) was today’s top loser as it lost 6.27% or 16 points and closed at Rs.239 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 5.01 points and closed at 278.97 points while Float Index gained 1.72 points and closed at 95.72 points.

Only Others was among losing sub-index as it lost 0.12%. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
