Market makes minimum movement towards positive direction; turnover falls to Rs.51.95 Crore

The market today gained minimum of 0.03% or 0.34 points and closed at 1302.96 points. The turnover stood at Rs.51.95 Crore achieved from trade of 1,701,064 units of shares traded through 6,618 transactions trading scrips of 170 listed companies in the process.

Shivam Cements (SHIVM) stood ahead in terms of turnover after posting a turnover of Rs.7.31 Crore with its LTP at Rs.588 per share. In term of volume, Prabhu Bank (PRVU) stood ahead after trade of 234,773 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.276 per share.

Sparsha Laghubitta (SPARS) hit the positive circuit today after it gained 9.83% or 41 points and closed at Rs.458 per share. Synergy Power Development Limited (SPDL) was today’s top loser after it lost 8% or 8 points and closed at Rs.92 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.05 points and closed at 277.61 points while Float Index gained 0.01 points and closed at 95.44 points.

Banking, Life Insurance and Non-Life Insurance were the losing sub-indices today as rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
