Market gains for third consecutive day, gaining 6.90 points today; Union Hydropower stocks fall to Rs.94 per share

The market today posted a gain for the third consecutive day. The benchmark index gained 0.54% or 6.90 points and closed at 1284.07 points. The turnover today stood at Rs.44.34 Crore achieved from trade of 1,346,330 units of shares traded through 6,462 transactions trading scrips of 170 listed companies in the process.

Today’s trade was dominated by Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) with turnover of Rs.3.99 Crore achieved through trade of 114,426 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.349 per share.

Ganapati Microfinance (GMFBS) was today’s top gainer as it gained 9.13% or 45 points and closed at Rs.538 per share. Union Hydropower (UNHPL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.05% or 5 points and closed at Rs.94 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 1.72 points and closed at 276.13 points while Float Index gained 0.48 points and closed at 94.56 points.

Only Finance and Manufacturing sectors were among losing sub-indices today while rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
