Market gains 8.39 points and closes at 1313.88 points; Shivam Cements posts today’s highest turnover of more than Rs.20 Crore

The market today was in the green zone for the whole day. The benchmark index gained 0.64% or 8.39 points and closed at 1313.88 points. The turnover stood at Rs.90.08 Crore achieved from trade of 2,628,420 units of shares traded through 10,415 transactions trading scrips of 173 listed companies in the process.
Shivam Cements (SHIVM) posted a massive turnover of Rs.20.40 Crore with its LTP at Rs.679 per share. In terms of volume, Prabhu Bank (PRVU) stood ahead with trade of 305,769 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.277 per share.
Three companies hit the positive circuit today. Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) gained 9.96%, Sparsha Laghubitta (SPARS) gained 9.94% and Himalaya Urja Bikas (HURJA) gained 9.77%. Joshi Hydropower (JOSHI) hit the negative circuit after it lost 9.61% or 10 points and closed at Rs.94 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 2.11 points and closed at 279.92 points while Float Index gained 0.66 points and closed at 96.21 points.
Only Trading and Life Insurance were the losing sub-indices today while the rest of the sub-indices gained points to close in the green zone.
