Market further loses 4.55 points and closes at 1255.09 points; microfinance companies dominate top losers’ list

The market today lost 0.36% or 4.55 points and closed at 1255.09 points. The turnover was worth Rs.44.32 Crore achieved from trade of 1,505,506 units o shares traded through 7,194 transactions trading scrips of 167 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) dominated the trade today with a turnover of Rs.2.69 Crore achieved through trade of 81,332 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stood at Rs.331 per share.

Swabhimaan Laghubitta (SMFBS) was today’s top gainer as it gained 4.04% or 32 points and closed at Rs.825 per share. Sparsha Laghubitta (SPARS) hit the negative circuit today as it lost 9.91% or 72 points and closed at Rs.654 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.77 points and closed at 271.01 points while Float Index lost 0.34 points and closed at 92.36 points.

Non-Life Insurance and Mutual Funds were the only gaining sub-indices today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
