Market falls from high of 1350 points to close at 1319.47 points, closing for the week with 5.58 points gain; massive turnover worth Rs.1.52 Arba posted

The market today reached a high of 1350 points. However, the benchmark index closed at 1319.47 points, gaining 0.43% or 5.58 points. The turnover today was worth Rs.1.52 Arba achieved from trade of 4,894,681 units of shares traded through 16,303 transactions trading scrips of 174 listed companies in the process.
In terms of turnover, Shivam Cements (SHIVM) stood ahead with turnover of Rs.17.19 Crore with its LTP at Rs.661 per share. In terms of volume, Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead after trade of 483,680 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.339 per share.
Himalaya Urja Bikas Company (HURJA) hit the positive circuit today. The hydropower company gained 9.59% or 14 points and closed at Rs.160 per share. Panchthar Power Company (PPCL) hit the negative circuit as it lost 9.94% or 18 points and closed at Rs.163 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 1.23 points and closed at 281.15 points while Float Index gained 0.42 points and closed at 96.62 points.
Banking, Others, Life Insurance and Mutual Funds were the only gaining sub-indices today. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
