Market drops more than 7 points to close at 1121 points; one microfinance company hits the positive circuit while the other hits the negative circuit

The market today had crossed 1132 points but it stood to lose 0.63% or 7.11 points. The benchmark index closed at 1121.08 points. The turnover today was of Rs.23.88 Crore which was achieved from trade of 812,387 units of shares traded through 4,928 transactions trading scrips of 174 companies in the process.

Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) posted the highest turnover today at Rs.1.32 Crore with its LTP standing at Rs.2610 per share. Shares of Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) were exchanged the most today with trade of 43,442 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.285 per share.

Chautari Laghubitta (CHLBS) hit the positive circuit today after gaining 9.82% or 32 points to close at Rs.358 per share. Naya Nepal Laghubitta (NNLB) hit the negative circuit today after it lost 10% or 57 points to close at Rs.513 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.76 points and closed at 238.44 points while Float Index lost 0.63 points and closed at 81.40 points.

Manufacturing and Processing was the only sub-index that gained points today. The sector gained 2.37% or 46.30 points. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points. Life Insurance sector lost the most at 1.68% or 95.75 points.
