Market closes for the week with 4.21 points loss; NEPSE stands at 1294.39 points

The market today lost 4.21 points or 0.32% and closed at 1294.39 points. The turnover today stood at Rs.58.78 Crore achieved through trade of 1,803,026 units of shares traded through 7,898 transactions trading scrips of 170 listed companies in the process.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) dominated today’s trade. The bank posted a turnover of Rs.4.72 Crore achieved through trade of 150,302 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stock stands at Rs.314 per share.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) was today’s top gainer after it gained 5.27% or 74 points and closed at Rs.1479 points. United Modi Hydropower (UMHL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.04% or 6 points and closed at Rs.113 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 1.28 points and closed at 277.82 points while Float Index lost 0.34 points and closed at 95.44 points.

Hotels, Non-Life Insurance and Manufacturing sectors were among the gaining sub-indices. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
