Market closes for the week after falling further by 2.92 points; 1 lakh units Promoter Shares of Global IME Bank traded today

The market closed for the week on a negative note. The benchmark index lost 0.23% or 2.92 points and closed at 1269.55 points today. The turnover stood at Rs.45.65 Crore achieved from trade of 1,423,687 units of shares traded through 6,548 transactions trading scrips of 170 listed companies in the process.

Sagarmatha Insurance Company (SIC) posted today’s highest turnover of Rs.3 Crore with LTP of Rs.1271 per share. Promoter Shares of Global IME Bank (GBIMEP) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 100,000 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.174 per share.

Ankhu Khola Jalavidhyut Company (AKJCL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5.36% or 4 points and closed at Rs.80 per share. Prudential Insurance Company (PICL) was today’s top loser after it lost 4.67% or 29 points and closed at Rs.591 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.54 points and closed at 271.81 points while Float Index lost 0.20 points and closed at 93.05 points.

Among the sub-indices, only Hotels gained today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
