Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Unveils Book Closure Date and 12th AGM; Company Proposes to Issue 1: 0.70 Right Shares

Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJC) has published a notice regarding the book closure date for the purpose of AGM.

The meeting of the board of directors held on Poush 03 decided to convene the 12th AGM on 28 Poush, 2082, 12:30 PM at Anupam Foodland & Banquet, Battisputali, Kathmandu.

Furthermore, the board of director meeting has proposed for the issuance of rights shares (1:0.70) for the shareholders. This will be issued from the paid-up capital of Rs. 3,76,319,800 at the upcoming AGM for discussion and approval of the right shares.

The book closure for it's upcoming AGM has been declared on Poush 17.

Note that the issuance of the right shares is contingent upon approval from the Electricity Regulatory Commission and subsequent endorsement at the company's upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
