Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank to Host Corporate Cricket League 2026 on Its 32nd Anniversary

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited is set to organize the Mahalakshmi Corporate Cricket League 2026 (Season 5) from Jestha 17 to Jestha 20 at Royal Sports Park, Chunikhel, Kathmandu, marking its 32nd anniversary. The four-day tournament will feature 24 corporate teams from banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, and merchant banks, competing in a total of 45 matches under a 10-over format. Teams will be divided into six groups, with group winners advancing to the Super Six stage.

The league includes participation from major commercial banks, development banks, finance companies, microfinance institutions, insurance companies, and a capital market entity. The event’s opening ceremony will be held on Jestha 17, while the closing and prize distribution will take place on Jestha 22. Various awards such as Best Player, Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Wicketkeeper, and Fair Play Award will be presented. The matches will be broadcast via the bank’s official YouTube channel and other media platforms.

The bank highlighted that the tournament reflects its commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and corporate engagement while continuing to provide quality financial services across Nepal for the past 32 years under the slogan “Strong Bank, Successful Collaboration.”
