Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Awards Scholarships to Five Underprivileged Students Under CSR Initiative
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has provided scholarships worth Rs. 50,000 each to five meritorious and economically disadvantaged students studying in community schools across Nepal. The scholarships, established in memory of the bank's late founding chairpersons and leaders of institutions that later merged into the bank, aim to support students from financially weak backgrounds and encourage continued education.

The scholarships were distributed to students in Kathmandu, Parsa, Kailali, Makwanpur, and Jhapa through the bank's executives and board members. The bank expressed confidence that the initiative will help reduce financial barriers to education while reaffirming its long-standing commitment to social responsibility alongside quality financial services.
