The Lumbini Lions, a franchise team in the Nepal Premier League, have unveiled their new logo, symbolizing not only their sporting spirit but also their deep cultural and national identity. According to Chairman Ishwar Bahadur GC, the logo reflects the pride of Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, and embodies Nepal’s rich heritage.

The design features iconic elements like the Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and symbols from the Nepali flag, all tied together with golden lettering representing the eternal peace flame. Founded in 2024, the team aims to blend sport with culture and spread Buddha’s message of peace on the global cricket stage.
